Children’s Music Workshop
Children and families are invited to enjoy listening to music in the galleries and creating their own music!
1:00 pm
Learn about the limberjack, crankie, and mountain dulcimer with musician and educator Deb Cavanaugh.
2:00 pm
The Ragtime Windjammers will create a soundscape for all ages with their mix of banjo, trumpet, guitar, clarinet, trombone, brass, and drums.
This program is sponsored by the Albany Musicians’ Association, Local 14 of the American Federation of Musicians, a union of dedicated professional musicians covering every genre of music. Its members can be seen playing in concerts, clubs, weddings, parades, musicals, and symphony orchestras, both locally and beyond.
