Community CPR Day
If someone collapsed in front of you, would you know what to do? Come to the MVP Arena on Sunday, Sept. 29, and learn to save a life with Hands-Only CPR. The Innovation Partnership, a collaboration between Albany County and MVP Health Care, is providing free, American Heart Association Hands-Only CPR training. Register for a half-hour time slot. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and trainings take place on the half hour between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. A limited number of CPR & First Aid in Youth Sports Training Kits will be given away that day to Albany County Youth Sports teams. Register for a training session and apply for a youth sports kit at www.heart.org/cpr518. Together, we can build a Nation of Lifesavers to change the statistic that only 10 % of people who suffer sudden cardiac arrest survive.
