A Spoonful of Sugar: An evening of curated personal stories
Whether poignant, hilarious, bittersweet, or quietly powerful, each tale is a glimpse into a key moment in someone’s life. This edition’s theme is “A Spoonful of Sugar”—true stories that explore the unexpected ways joy, levity, or sweetness helped us navigate tough moments or turning points.
Each storyteller will share a 7–9 minute, first-person story drawn from their own life. No scripts, no notes—just raw, honest storytelling.

We’re currently accepting submissions! Email your story summary (300 words max), a short bio (100 words or less), a current headshot (professional not required), and your contact info to [email protected] with the subject line “Story Submission” by Monday, June 10th at noon ET. Selected storytellers will be notified by June 14th, with a rehearsal call scheduled. The final lineup will be announced on June 16th. Honorarium for selected storytellers: A $30 Mopco gift card and a free drink of your choice!
