Greenville Arts in the Park
Come bring the whole family and experience a unique art exhibit throughout Vanderbilt Park. Watch artists working at a special Plein Air Exhibit area where you will see them capturing the idyllic scenery of the mountains, trails and vistas of this gorgeous spot at the foothills of the Catskills.
There will be live demonstrations of artists working on both large and small pieces of work including the Catskills Carver doing chain saw art, and Andy Golub who will be painting a car, Have fun interacting with these friendly interesting artists! Best of all, a wide variety of art will be for sale, making it a great opportunity to find the perfect piece while also supporting local artists. Donna Britton will be playing originals and cover songs from 12-2 and Joel and Friends will rock you with their trio from 3-5. This and That food truck will be serving a crowd-pleasing selection of food, from Cauliflower Wings to Quesadillas.
Come out to the park on this special day for amazing art, delicious food, two great music performances, and free kids chalk art and bubble making stations. To add some floral delight to the mix, there will even be flowers for sale! There is a rain date of 5/19 from 11-5. The park has beautiful trails, a playground, and a dog park. Come spend the day and explore the park! Artists can still sign up on the day of the event right at the park from 9-10:30. Bring the whole family! There will be interactive activities for all ages including a chalk art gallery and giant bubble stations. While on-site, enjoy all that Vanderbilt Park has to offer including the walking trails, playground, and dog park. Feel free to bring your own art supplies to work plein air while enjoying the majestic views!
