Find Me in Franklin Square - A Little Preservationist Adventure
The Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation is thrilled to host a Little Preservationist Adventure, a walking tour for children and their families, with local author and educator Patrice Mastrianni. Inspired by her book, Find Me in Saratoga, this engaging children’s walking tour of Franklin Square will explore the history of Saratoga’s first grand neighborhood and the people who shaped the most popular resort of its time. To start the tour, participants are invited to enjoy cookies and lemonade, courtesy of Franklin Square Market.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the tour. Recommended age is 6 and older. History can be fun and a little creepy. Please consider whether this is appropriate for your Little Preservationist.
Tour is approximately 90 minutes, rain-or-shine, and covers varied terrain.
Tickets are $15 for SSPF Members (admits 1 adult and 1 child) and $20 for non-members (admits 1 adult and 1 child). Additional tickets are $10 each.
The author will have copies of Find Me in Saratoga available for purchase at the event. Price is $18 including sales tax. Cash, credit card, and Venmo accepted.
