Q.U.I.L.T.S February Membership Meeting
Q.U.I.L.T.S. (Quilters United in Learning Together, Schenectady) will hold its monthly meeting on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at the First Reformed Church of Scotia, 224 N. Ballston Ave, Scotia, NY. This is the annual working meeting for quilts that are donated to Northern Rivers Family Services. Quilt tops will be basted and straight-line or free-motion quilted, bindings will be cut, sewn, and pressed, and backings will be pieced. Instructions in all techniques will be available for those wishing to learn. Please bring the needed equipment for your chosen activities (sewing machines, rotary cutters, basting pins, etc.). Work begins at 4:00 PM with a short business meeting at 7:00 PM. There will be drawings for fat quarters, goodie bags, and membership name tags, but no show and tell.
