Saturday, May 2nd - https://engage.riverkeeper.org/component/events/event/31 Sunday, May 3rd - https://engage.riverkeeper.org/component/events/event/36 This event is part of Riverkeeper Sweep, an annual day of service for the Hudson River where more than 2,000 volunteers come together across hundreds of miles of shoreline in New York City and the Hudson Valley to clean up trash, plant trees, and remove invasive plant species. Over 14 years, Sweep volunteers have completed 1,463 projects and removed 396 tons of debris, including 2,352 tires, and planted or maintained thousands of trees and shrubs. Once-neglected areas have gained year-round stewards, and rivers and creeks are better for it. Read more about this event by visiting Riverkeeper.org/sweep.
