In the summer of 1993 Sean Allison was 21 years old and recently kicked out of college for the second time. He landed a job shooting breaking news overnight in New York City as a one-man camera crew. From eight at night to eight in the morning he drove around the city in an auctioned-off cop car, filming whatever happened and then selling it to all six morning news programs.
30 years later in 2023, with the help of a therapist, Sean was able to process his experience and begin writing his story. Under the direction of Shae D'lyn, If It Bleeds It Leads went on to win the Best Storyteller Prize at the United Solo Festival in NYC that fall.
Join R’ville Stage Creations and Sean Allison for an unforgettable evening of live theatre on Saturday, September 20th at 7:00 pm. Performance followed by a Q&A/ Talkback with Sean.
