Community Ecologist Public Presentation
The Schoharie River Center ran a 6 week experiential internship program for area HS students through the county jobs program SJTA/Schenectady Connects. They ran water quality assessments on many waterways in and around Schenectady, collecting data that they plan to share at this event. They also worked on a mural about their experience, and produced short films/documentaries about the whole program.
This event is open to the public to come learn from our students their findings what they have been working on all summer.
All teens are invited for a hike/activity at 1pm, as part of our Environmental Study Team. Those interested in joining the team can come learn more and come along on a hike.
