Superunknown – A Chris Cornell Tribute – to Perform at Athens Riverfront Park
Superunknown, who have been mesmerizing audiences with their stirring renditions of Chris Cornell classics, will be playing a special performance at Athens Riverfront Park as part of the “Athens Concert Series” on July 18.
During the show, Superunknown will perform all eras of Chris Cornell’s too short career from Soundgarden, Audioslave, and Temple of the Dog.
Featuring Vocalist/Guitarist Jason Reed, who uncannily delivers Cornell’s trademark howling vocals, Superunknown comprises such talented artists as Louis Graff (Guitar), Tom Laskas (Bassist), Ron DiSilvestro (Drums), and Pete Hefley (Guitar).
Superunknown recently released an original song entitled “You are Never Alone” to support Mental Health Awareness Month (May) and Superunknown Vocalist/Guitarist Jason Reed said the song is “a message to anyone who's struggling that you're not alone; there are people here who love you, who care and who can help.”
The show starts at 7 PM and is free and open to the public. It is located at 4 N Water St. Athens, NY.
