The 2025 Filene Scholar Celebration Concert shines a spotlight on the winners of the 44th Annual Filene Scholarship Competition, performing alongside current Filene Scholars and distinguished faculty artists. Established through the generosity of the Filene Ladd families, this prestigious award recognizes exceptional young musicians—offering them the support of private lessons and the freedom to pursue any major while continuing their artistry at the highest level.
More than a concert, this is a celebration of the Filene Scholars’ impact on Skidmore’s vibrant musical life, as they enrich the campus community through inspired performances, ensembles, and collaborations that keep music thriving at the heart of Skidmore.
