Diane Cameron, author, spiritual director, and book coach, discusses her book Looking for Signs: Essays and Columns. An award-winning colunnist, Diane Cameron is also author of Never Leave Your Dead: A True Story of War Trauma, Murder, and Madness, published in 2016. She uncovers the secrets of her step-father, a Marine who served in China during the Japanese invasion of 1937 (the start of World War 2 in the Pacific), and her book — part memoir, part history, part true crime — deals with his and his family’s difficulties after his return home.
