Prepare to be transported to the eerie and enchanting world of Charles Dickens' timeless classic, A Christmas Carol, as Troy Foundry Theatre proudly presents a spine-tingling one-man production like you've never seen before. With a story heavily adapted, edited and re-written by Wesley Broulik (Times Fool Company), Girard takes the stage in a solo performance with musical and sonic accompaniment provided by Connor Armbruster for an experience that will send shivers down your spine and warm your heart. This unique and ghostly adaptation, curated by Theatre Institute at Sage’s David Baecker & TFT’s David Girard with technical direction by TFT’s Creative Associate Ethan Botwick, is a limited-time performance and fundraiser for TFT and will take place during the heart of Troy’s Victorian Stroll weekend. Girard will bring to life all the beloved characters from the haunting tale, from the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge to the ethereal Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come. Performances will take place December 1st through December 3rd at 19 3rd Street in Troy, NY, with the entrance to the performance through the Franklin Alley door at the back of the building. Performances will be on Friday, December 1 at 7:30pm, Saturday, December 2 at 8:00pm and on Sunday, December 3rd (Victorian Stroll) at 12:00pm and 7:00pm. There are three levels of support you can choose to offer TFT by purchasing a ticket. The highest price level will include an invitation to the post-show closing night party on the evening of Victorian Stroll at 518 Craft in Troy, NY with the first round of drinks on TFT! Fundraiser Ticket Levels $100 level: Includes one ticket at your selected performance date with guaranteed first row seating and an invitation to the closing night post-show party at 518 Craft on Sunday, December 3rd at 8:30pm.
