NYS Writers Institute: David Guterson: Snow Falling on Cedars (1994), and Evelyn in Transit (2026)
He makes his Writers Institute debut for a conversation about his new novel, Evelyn in Transit, the story of a free-spirited woman who hitchhikes across the American West taking odd jobs. Pulitzer Prize winner Paul Harding (Tinkers) called it “an inspired portrait that is both cosmic and sacred.”
