Music at Bath Concert Series / Babies in Black 50s & 60s Music
“Music at Bath” Concert Series brings your favorite 50s and 60s songs through Babies in Black at 4:00 PM on Sunday, September 15 at The Bath Church (3980 West Bath Road, Akron; 330-666-3520; a physically accessible venue). Beth Hiser, upright bass, and Rachel Roberts, guitar, will share hits from the Beatles, Lesley Gore, the Drifters and others. Singer-songwriter Roberts’ sound is a mix of Sade, Joni Mitchell, and Pat Benatar who’s shared stages with Chrissie Hynde, The Black Keys, and others. Hiser, a professor at Baldwin Wallace, has performed Afro-pop, country, bluegrass, rock and punk throughout the country. Free concert!
