Adults and youths ages 15 and older are invited to join instructor Nick Lee for a Drawing from Life Workshop Series at the Massillon Museum on Saturday, June 29, from noon to 3:00 p.m., and Sunday, June 30, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Students will work in graphite, colored pencil, and art crayon to create works inspired by garments featured in Gilding Northeast Ohio: Fashion and Fortune 1870–1900. Students will draw mannequins wearing antique clothing from life on drawing paper. Students will be sent a supply list with items to bring or purchase prior to the first class date. The Museum will provide drawing paper and drawing clip boards to all students.
$50/member and $55/nonmember. Supplies to be purchased separately by each student total approximately $50. Students are able to provide supplies they already own. Dry media must be approved by the Museum for use in gallery.

Gilding Northeast Ohio: Fashion and Fortune 1870-1900, is organized by the Massillon Museum (Massillon, Ohio). The exhibition, guest-curated by Brian Centrone, is funded by a Major Arts Enhancements & Exhibit Grant through ArtsinStark and Visit Canton.
