Daddy's Angels & Co Host Tender Hands 2025 Breaking The Silence Prostate Cancer Awareness Walk

Daddy's Angels founded by Tylou Young & Tina Proctor-Lemon in honor of fathers and loved ones who have battled prostate cancer, Daddy’s Angels is committed to breaking the silence around men’s health and providing resources that save lives. For far too long, prostate cancer has taken a devastating toll on families. Many men are diagnosed too late due to lack of awareness, stigma, or access to early screenings. Daddy’s Angels was created to change that — by encouraging early detection, community education, advocacy, and support services for patients and caregivers. “Our mission is deeply personal,” said Tina founder of Daddy’s Angels Inc. “We have lost fathers, husbands, brothers, and friends to prostate cancer. This organization is about honoring their memory and fighting for the men we still have with us. Together, we will raise awareness, push for screenings, and make sure families know they are not alone.” Daddy’s Angels will host events, workshops, and community outreach programs designed to: • Educate men and families on prostate cancer risk factors and early detection • Provide emotional and resource support for patients and caregivers • Collaborate with healthcare providers, researchers, and other nonprofits The organization’s first major event, 2025 Breaking the Silence Prostate Cancer Awareness Walk, will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Maple Beach – Curvis F. Rhyne Pavilion in Alliance, Ohio. This community walk will honor survivors, remember those lost, and unite families in action against prostate cancer. Daddy’s Angels Inc. invites community members, local businesses, and healthcare partners to join the cause, sponsor events, volunteer, or donate. Together, every step taken will move us closer to saving lives.
