The Greater Akron Audubon Society is presenting a talk by Dale Rabung who has been working on Eastern Bluebird trails since 1979. He has provided hundreds of nest boxes to people in Ohio and beyond. His Bluebird trails in Ohio produced the first fledglings in 1983. That summer there were a total of six babies that fledged. His efforts have increased steadily and he has fledged around 8,000 babies since 1983. Dale will discuss some topics related to Bluebirds including proper box placement and how to deal with intruders. He will also have a display of some of his boxes. Program is free and open to the public.
