The Family Nook Grand Opening
The Early Childhood Resource Center invites families and community members to celebrate the grand opening of The Family Nook. In this new free space, can spend time together, connect with others, and enjoy meaningful play in a welcoming environment.
The public is invited to attend a drop-in grand opening celebration on Wednesday, August 19, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Early Childhood Resource Center’s Akron office, located at 915 N. Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44310. Families can explore the space and learn about the Early Childhood Resource Center, participate in a children's craft activity, and enjoy light refreshments.
While many family activities can be expensive or highly structured, The Family Nook offers a free, drop-in environment where families can engage at their own pace. Children can play, create, and explore while caregivers connect in a comfortable setting designed to support family engagement and community connections.
