32nd Rogues Hollow Festival

Old fashioned Street Fair on Doylestown’s town square & downtown-streets are closed to traffic making a ‘pedestrian mall’ of family activity. Fri Aug 7, 7PM to 11PM, Sat Aug 8, 8AM to 11PM ‘My Hometown!’ Enjoy the Friday parade, great family spectacle—floats, cars and more. Kids love the Jump Houses and the Foggy Bottom Petting Zoo & Pony Rides on Friday and Saturday. Saturday continues with Sand Art, Library Make-it crafts and Story-walk, Wayne County Humane Society and animal adoptions and the Tuslaw Lions Choo-Choo. Saturday starts early with the Doylestown Doughboy 5 K Run & 1 mile Walk and the Kids Fun Run. As the day goes on the Corn Hole Tournament, the Annual Rogues Rackets Doubles Tennis Tournament, the Classic Car Show & Cruise-in and Motorcycle Cruise, in go on in stellar fashion. Again this year, on Saturday afternoon, the Doughboys Veteran Ride to the Western Reserve National Cemetery and the Clinton Memorial Park will run in, honoring our Veterans. NEW Sugar Pine Carving, Patrick Holbert Chainsaw Artist with carving demonstrations (with raffle of an Indian head like the Chippewa School mascot) Shoppers can visit the crafters and artist booths both days and on Saturday enjoy the Doylestown Farmers Market and the Pie Baking Contest. Family Bingo for Cloth-a-Kid and raffles all around to join in! History buffs can visit the Rogues Hollow Chidester Mill 11 to 4 on Saturday, join in the Rubber Duck Races on the hour, check out the working water wheel, Historic stations in the downtown Doylestown shop windows during the festival with additional displays in front of the Seiberling House. ; Great Music – April Kushman— playing original & country cover music Friday evening after the parade, On Saturday bandstand entertainment includes Science with Miss Molly and Ben Gage, followed in the evening with Formula 4—back playing classic & progressive rock. FANTASTIC EATS & LIQUID REFRESHMENT !!!--Pancake Breakfast (on Saturday morning at the Chippewa Township Fire Department), Elephant Ears, Funnel Cakes, Cotton Candy, Sausage Sandwiches, French Fries, Bloomin' Onions, Steak Sandwiches, Lions Donuts and more to fill your tummy. Lemonade, soda, water coffee and more. Don’t forget the Beer Tent for relaxation on the square. A great FIREWORKS display will go off with a BANG on Saturday evening ! Come Join the Fun!
