Western Reserve Folk Arts Association is excited to announce a concert featuring the legendary Donnie Iris & The Cruisers, along with special guests Beauty & The Beat, on Saturday, November 8th, at 7:00 P.M. This much-anticipated live performance will take place at the historic Canton Palace Theatre, making it an unforgettable night for music lovers in the region.
Donnie Iris, widely known for his iconic hits and captivating stage presence, will bring his unique sound and “legendary scream” to Canton, Ohio. Fans can expect to hear a selection of classic Donnie Iris & The Cruisers hits including “Ah! Leah!” “Love Is Like A Rock” and many more as well as favorites from The Jaggerz and Wild Cherry years! Adding to the excitement, The Cruisers will be joined by esteemed special guest drummers; Joe Vitale Sr. and Joe Vitale Jr., a talented father-son duo that promises to elevate the performance to new heights.
If there is any question about what the Vitale’s will bring to the stage, Joe Vitale Sr. is a veteran drummer of over 40 years, touring with the likes of Ted Nugent, Joe Walsh, Peter Frampton, The Eagles, and Crosby, Still, and Nash, just to name a few. Not to be outdone, Joe Vitale Jr. not only grew up on the road learning from the best with his father, but he has also become a force to be reckoned with himself with his own band Ravenwood.
In addition to Donnie Iris & The Cruisers, the concert will feature special guests Beauty & The Beat, a Tribute to the music of The Go-Go’s and Belinda Carlisle.
