Chrissy is a singer-songwriter whose music beautifully blends vulnerability and power, crafting songs from a life shaped by recovery, resilience, and an unshakable belief in the human spirit. As a dedicated mental health and addiction recovery advocate, her music goes beyond performance, opening space for community, compassion, and hope. Her powerful voice and messages of healing and transformation are a perfect complement to our mission. All donations and sponsorships are crucial in supporting our ability to provide vital inclusive mental health care services to individuals in our community who often face systemic barriers to care and directly support Carve Your Own Path Inc. At Carve Your Own Path, Inc., our mission is to provide compassionate and inclusive mental health services to marginalized individuals, including LGBTQIA+ individuals (with specialized gender-affirming care and support for transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming individuals), and women. We understand the unique challenges these communities face and are dedicated to creating a safe and empowering space for healing and growth. Your generous contribution will directly fuel our ability to provide the following critical services: $250 can help subsidize multiple sliding-scale sessions for a vulnerable individual, providing consistent support on their journey to mental wellness. This ongoing care can be transformative. $500 can help us provide ten individual sliding-scale therapy sessions for someone in critical need. This sustained support can be life-changing, offering consistent care and guidance as they navigate significant mental health challenges and work towards lasting well-being. $1,000 can help us provide 4 community wellness education sessions to increase understanding of how to holistically care for ourselves. These informative provide immediately implementable skills and resources for attendees to benefit from. $2,500 supports our ability to house our services in a welcoming, safe, and therapeutic setting for one month. Having a safe space to be your authentic self and share your true thoughts and feelings is more challenging for some ot find than others. Starting the therapeutic relationship with a safe foundation is instrumental in supporting healthy treatment outcomes for those we serve. The statistics are stark: According to the Trevor Project, nearly 50% of transgender and non-binary youth seriously considered suicide in the past year.
