West Hill Halloween

From the organizers: Akron’s historic West Hill neighborhood Halloween celebration has something for all who celebrate spooky season. From early trunk-or-treat for the littlest ghouls and goblins, an all-ages Halloween party, guided trick-or-treating through the neighborhood, a free family-friendly Halloween movie, followed by grown-ups only West Hill Boooze Trail. Kid, adult, and pet costume contests, ghost stories, and more. Schedule of Events: 1pm – 3pm Church of Our Saviour Trunk-or-Treat Kick of Halloween with a trunk-or-treat for the littlest trick-or-treaters. 3pm – 5pm West Hill Halloween Party at the Oakdale Pocket Park, 88 Oakdale Avenue Join us at the Oakdale Pocket Park for an all-ages Halloween Party with games, food and drinks, face-painting, kid and pet costume parade and contests, ghost stories, and more! 5pm – 7pm Trick-or-Treating Follow the West Hill trick-or-treating map for and maybe run into a few ghosts and goblins along the way! If you live in Wet Hill and want to be on the trick-or-treating map, please sign up here. Every house that signs up will receive a free Halloween luminere to display for trick-or-treating. 7:00pm – 9:30pm Free Showing of Coco at Church of Our Saviour Halloween doesn’t end for the littles when the porch lights go out. Finish off the night with a free showing of Coco, a family-movie at Church of Our Saviour. Space is limited so reserve your free tickets below. 7pm – 10pm West Hill Boooze Trail (21+) Halloween isn’t just for kids! After trick-or-treating is done, follow the Booze Trail through West Hill. Start out at the Oakdale Pocket Park to pick up your Booze Trail passport, get your passport stamped at a few favorite West Hill spots, and head on back to the pocket park for a free beer or a hot cider by the fire.
