Musicore After-School Program

Rock to the Future is now accepting new students for the MusiCore after school program! Here at Rock to the Future, we believe that music education is a critical part of growing up, which is why we work with your kids to build confidence on the stage and off the stage. We know that all kids need the life skills and lessons learned through music and our programs start where traditional classroom education ends. Our belief in access to music education is why we provide this program at no cost to you!

MusiCore students get to learn their choice of instrument (bass, guitar, drums, piano), form bands with their peers, write and record original music, play cover songs, participate in a vocal ensemble, attend creative workshops, work with real musicians, and perform live twice during the program year. Homework help, tutoring, and college application assistance is also offered.

MusiCore is for underserved Philadelphia youth grades 6-12 and operates Monday-Friday from 3-6pm during the school year in the Fishtown / Kensington neighborhood.
