In its 4th year, the Rydal Park Lively Fall Speaker Series is proud to open a window into those landmark organizations—to share some of the history and reveal some of the mystery that makes our city’s icons so iconic.
On Wednesday, October 5th, Rydal Park will welcome Dan DiZio, President of Philly Pretzel Factory.
About Dan: At age 11, Dan DiZio had already found his destiny—selling Philly soft pretzels on a busy downtown corner and dispatching his neighbors to cover the surrounding neighborhoods. After college, he and his roommate Len Lehman opened the first PHILLY PRETZEL FACTORY in Northeast Philly. A year later, franchise offers began pouring in. In 2004, Dan founded Soft Pretzel Franchise Systems and the rest is pretzel history. Today Dan’s brand is sold in more than 150 locations across 15 states. Fresh samples will be served!
