How did the science of sound reproduction change imagination? Find out at the kick-off to our First Friday season where theater brings the technical history of sound reproduction to life. Enjoy a live, simulated radio play by the Mechanical Theater Company, learn about how sound effects were made in classic radio plays, and decide for yourself whether what you "hear affects what you "see"?
This month's program will take place at 5:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. This event is presented in conjunction with our latest exhibit, Science at Play, open through September 2, 2016.
