College and Academic Success Counseling - One Session
In this session we discuss your academic and personal history and identify strengths as well as potential roadblocks to college success. You will leave with a step-by-step weekly tasklist to follow in order to keep on track and to be successful in college. Whether you are a new student needing to adjust to the demands of college or a student who has experienced difficulty and needs to get back on the right track, this session will give you a roadmap to success in college and in life.
One Month of College and Academic Success Counseling -4 weekly sessions
In addition to discussing your academic and personal history and identifying strengths and potential roadblocks to college success, you will have a month of weekly session with a counselor to help you to stay on track. You and your counselor will develop a weekly tasklist with strategies developed and followed by successful students. Believe it or not, a few minor changes in behavior can make the difference between thriving in college and dropping out. Our weekly check-ins provide accountability, encouragement and the counseling and mentoring you need to make college a positive experience.
Full Semester (4 months) of College and Academic Success Counseling -16 weekly sessions
In addition to discussing your academic and personal history and identifying strengths and potential roadblocks to college success, you will have a 4 months of weekly sessions with a counselor. You and your counselor will develop a weekly tasklist with strategies developed and followed by successful students. Believe it or not, a few minor changes in behavior can make the difference between thriving in college and dropping out. Our weekly check-ins provide accountability, encouragement and the counseling and mentoring you need to make college a positive experience.
Nearly one-third of students drop out of college by the end of their first year. Our program offers weekly assignments and check-ins that have proven to be effective in keeping students in college and helping them to graduate.
Accountability is the key factor. We touch base with students a minimum of once a week to help them to stay on track. This type of counseling, mentoring and accountability is the game changer.
