The Annual St. Louis YULE BALLS (YB2: New Years Eve Celebration)
YULE BALL 2 (12/31/17)
YB2, is a New Year’s Eve Celebration, only for people aged 18 or older. This is a white-tie preferred event, but just like YB1, wizarding robes are totally acceptable. The black-tie white-tie thing is really only for the Muggles, and this event starts at 6pm and ends at 1am, with something special at the stroke of midnight to ring in the New Year with your group or significant other. There are 2 ticket categories for YB2: Butter Beer ($125) for anyone aged 18 or older who is NOT drinking alcohol; Fire Whiskey ($175) for anyone aged 21 or older who WILL be drinking alcohol. There will be a large selection of both magical and muggle cocktails for at this evening, but the alcohol is intended to be a mere detail of the event. You’re going to have a lot more fun doing other things, we promise!
Enjoy a delicious themed meal with paired cocktails the Great Hall, actually at The DEN, we call it the Great North Hall. The Great South Hall is where we keep most of the games and other activities.
Once you enter the Yule Ball, you don’t need to pay for anything else. Alcohol, valet parking, wands and other gifts are all included. Whether you partake in the Slug Club, the Divination Class, the photo booth, the ballroom dancing, the disco, or indeed any other activity, it’s all included. Tipping is NOT expected for Professor Snape’s staff at the Open Potions Lab, nor for the Hufflepuff valets who’ll be looking after your thestral or broom.
Each year, the Yule Balls will give 90% of the profits to ALL the charities that The DEN partnered with in that calendar year.
