Philadelphia, PA -- On Sunday, March 1st, the National Kidney Foundation will kick off National Kidney Month with a frigid splash. The local athletes in the Team Kidney endurance program and supporters of NKF will take the plunge to raise awareness of kidney disease.
The event will attract over 50 participants, and raise more than $5,000 toward NKF's mission of awareness, prevention, and treatment of kidney disease. A $40 donation lets you participate, and includes a Team Kidney t-shirt and complimentary refreshments after the plunge.
