This Event has Passed
When the funk came to town, it shook it up and got down. One nation, under a groove - soul, jazz, rhythm and blues. Foxy women and fly guys of every shape, color, and size, united in the sound of the bumping beat, we rise. Can you dig it? We hope that you do, ’cuz all the cool cats will be there with the grooves. Dudes and dudettes, you’re all in luck - Friday, March 3rd, we’ll get Funky as F*ck! The place is Trilogy; 10:00, the time. Come on out, kids, and free your mind, ’cuz we’ve got the funk (gotta have that funk!). Bangarang invites you to shake that booty and unwind, take a chill pill and pause from the grind as we pay tribute to those epic times. Why wouldn’t we do it? The 1970s were super FLY.

Donations:
This month Bangarang will be supporting the art program at North Light Community Center by collecting donations of new and gently used supplies. North Light Community Center’s mission “is to enable people of all ages and abilities in our communities, especially those most in need, to reach their full potential as productive and responsible citizens through initiatives that support and enrich children, teens, and families. Their “vision is to support and strengthen our diverse neighborhoods by meeting the evolving needs of individuals and families. We work to develop the whole person from educating to providing sustenance, and thus, cultivate a vibrant community.”
We will be collecting ANY new or gently used art supplies. Most needed items are: glue, scissors, water color sets, watercolor paper, glitter glue, gem stickers, pipe cleaners, origami paper, beads, wire, paintbrushes, colorful cotton balls, stencils and any other supplies for creative projects!
PLEASE NO CRAYONS.
