The Philadelphia/ Southern NJ WALK to End Hydrocephalus is a local effort to raise funds to support the efforts and mission of the Hydrocephalus Association. The event is initiated and coordinated by local volunteers committed to the mission of the HA. As a result, the WALK is an extremely cost-effective fundraiser that maximizes the amount of funds that can be directed to program services and research.
Since 2009 the HA WALK program has been extremely successful. In 2016 more than 12,000 participants nationwide raised nearly $1.6 million for HA and its mission. HA WALKs range in size from $10,000 to $200,000 depending upon the market.
