Set against the dazzling backdrop of paintings and microetchings by Greg Dunn in his solo exhibit "Mind Illuminated', this program will explore the complicated wiring and circuitry of the brain that allows all those neurons to ˜fire' in harmony, powering our movement, senses, memory and consciousness everything that makes us human. What happens, though, when our neuronal pathways become disordered, even enter in chaos? Dr. Gordon Baltuch will address not only normal brain function but some common neurological conditions in order to further our knowledge of how the brain really works. Light refreshments included.
