Shofuso's 1954 architect was Junzo Yoshimura. Although he designed Shofuso, a traditional-style Japanese house, Yoshimura was a primarily mid-century modernist influenced by his American modernist colleagues Antonin Raymond and George Nakashima. Join us for a day-long self-guided tour of mid-20th century homes in Bucks County, PA that reflects theses influences on Shofuso's Japanese modernist architect.
