In its 4th year, the Rydal Park Lively Fall Speaker Series is proud to open a window into those landmark organizations—to share some of the history and reveal some of the mystery that makes our city’s icons so iconic.
On Wednesday, October 26th, Rydal Park will welcome Andrew J. Baker, Ph.D., Chief Operating Officer, The Philadelphia Zoo.
About Dr. Baker: With more than 1,300 demanding tenants in his care and some 1.3 million visitors popping in every year, Dr. Baker has a lot on his plate at the PHILADELPHIA ZOO. With degrees in Biology and Zoology and a special interest in the Golden Lion Tamarins of Brazil, he is known worldwide for his leadership and innovation in conservation and the study of endangered species. He is also one of the designers of Zoo 360, a first-of-its-kind animal trail system which allows freedom of movement
between exhibit areas for various species throughout the zoo.
