He is also a former student-athlete who was a walk-on for the National Champion Hurricanes football team.
Finesse Mitchell will be seen shortly hosting BEAT THE CHAMPIONS, a new FOX network competition special that offers amateurs the chance of a lifetime – to challenge the world’s premiere athletes for cash prizes. The one-hour special premiered Sunday, July 5 on FOX, airing immediately following FOX Sports’ coverage of the WOMEN’S WORLD CUP FINALS. Some of the professional athletes include Olympic Gold Medalist Missy Franklin, New England Patriot Rob Gronkowski, and Houston Rocket Dwight Howard.
Mitchell is an alum of Saturday Night Live with credits that include Disney’s A.N.T. Farm and BET/ Centric’s According To Him & Her. Mitchell has also had numerous appearances on NBC's Today show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, The Arsenio Hall Show, B.E.T Comic View, Tyra, and many more.
Also in the stand-up comedy space, Finesse was a member of the 2013 Shaq All-Star Comedy Jam tour. He further shined on the SHAQ All-Star one-hour comedy special taped in Atlanta, GA which aired on SHOWTIME.
Mitchell, a supporter of the men and women in the armed forces, recently appeared in Ron White’s Comedy Salute to the Troops. The live event from Las Vegas was recorded for airing on Country Music Television (CMT), and all proceeds went to benefit the Armed Forces Foundation.
