Informed by KYL/D’s engagements with community practitioners of diverse spiritual outlooks, THE DOOR investigates the role of movement in nourishing our beliefs about meaning and mystery. This world premiere performance features stunning projections by visionary multimedia designer Jared Mezzocchi. The concert also includes the critically acclaimed Dedication, a solo described as “a nuanced distillation of sorrow” (New York Times). All choreography by Kun-Yang Lin.

Other collaborators include Dancer, Philosopher and Scholar of Religion Kimerer LaMothe, Composer/Sound Designer Cory Neale, Lighting Designer Alyssandra Docherty, Set Designer Sara Outing and Costume Designer Jill Peterson.
