Bark by popular demand, Morey’s Piers goes completely to the dogs on Saturday, September 8. With a full line-up of fido-friendly events, pups, mutts and purebreds of all shapes and sizes are invited celebrate the dog days of summer.
The Doggie Dash kicks-off the tail-wagging events at 10:00am on September 8 when dogs and owners walk, wag, or run the 5K and 1 mile races on the beach adjacent to Raging Waters Water Park. After the dash, participants will be treated to a beachside finisher’s celebration with music, food, games and activities. New for 2018, Doggie Dash participants can add on a Doggie Splash admission for $10 granting access to the water park right after the race. The exclusive 10:30am to 11:45am time slot is only available to Doggie Dash participants.
The day continues with a splash for the annual puppy pool party at Raging Waters “Water Bark.” Celebrating the close of the water park for the season, canines have free rein to paddle along the river adventure, play in the fountain pool or fetch tennis balls in the activity pool. For the first time ever Morey’s Piers will be offering nine hour-long splash sessions staggered from 12:00pm to 5:00pm to accommodate admission for more dogs.
Pricing for the Doggie Dash and Doggie Splash: Doggie Splash tickets are $25 for a dog plus an owner and are valid for one hour of splash time in Raging Waters Water Park. Each dog must have a designated handler for admission; Dog + runner Dash & Splash combo passes are $45; dog + runner race entry is $35; human only race entry is $25; human only Dash & Splash combo passes are $35; spectator splash tickets are $10.
