October 17th through October 20th at the Brewpub:
- The return of some of our favorite brews – including Renner’s Red Irish Red Ale, named after the brewery’s founder! Served on hand pump.
- We’ll have our newest favorite - our 20th Anniversary Ale – on tap! This Belgian-style golden ale clocks in at 11% abv. and was aged on a custom blend of Chardonnay and Muscat grapes to create a wonderfully balanced and refined drinking experience
- Specials on our original dishes – such as appetizers: Mahogany Wings and Brew House Nachos, and entrees: Saint Louis Ribs, and Captain’s Chicken!
- Dessert Concoctions – such as beer floats! Your choice of ice cream dunked in a cold glass of Crunch or PBJ Crunch!
- Free slice of birthday cake with any purchase!
- Tuesday, we host live jazz from jazz groups from the 23rd St. Café.
- Wednesday, we host Tony Catastrophe’s Brews & Blues Jam Session.

Thursday October 13th: 20th Anniversary Celebration at Johnny Brenda's @ 6:00 PM
Johnny Brenda's has been a huge supporter of Manayunk Brewery now for over a decade, in addition to being one of the coolest spots in Philadelphia and one of our favorite places to grab a beer. Join the Manayunk Brewery team as we hangout, have some beers, listen to some tunes and overall just have a good time. The awesome peeps over at Johnny Brenda's will be tapping a keg of our 20th Anniversary Ale, along with a special-made firkin of our new Hoppa Smurf Blueberry Rye IPA with a massive dry-hop addition of Simcoe along with 5 other Manayunk beers. Word is they might also have some custom-made food options using some Manayunk Brewery beers as well!
Friday October 14th: Manayunk Brewery & Friends from Iron Hill celebrate 20 years together at Varga Bar @ 5:00 PM
Manayunk Brewery and Iron Hill Brewery go way, way back (about 20 years actually). Come help us celebrate 20 years of friendship, collaboration, and great local beer at one of our collective favorite spots in the city, Varga Bar. We'll have our 20th Anniversary beer from Manayunk Brewery along with a few others along with beer from our Iron Hill buddies Head Brewer Chris "Lappy" LaPierre of Iron Hill Chestnut Hill, Head Brewer Paul Rutherford of Iron Hill Ardmore, and Iron Hill Huntingdon Valley Head Brewer Doug Marchakitus (also the former Head Brewer at Manayunk Brewery). Come out to try some special beers and celebrate 20 years of O.G. locals Manayunk Brewery and Iron Hill Brewery!
Saturday October 15th: 20th Anniversary tap takeover at City Tap House Logan @ 6:00 PM
When it comes to throwing parties, not many people can beat our friends over at City Tap House! Our friends Remo, Andy and the gang from City Tap House Logan have been gracious enough to throw a party in our honor Saturday night, and it should be an epic time as usual! The lineup is looking quite fantastic, including our 20th Anniversary beer, Philly Beer Scene Magazine nominee for Best Belgian Beer in PA Monk from the 'Yunk Tripel, Hoppa Smurf Blueberry Rye IPA and many more! Come out Saturday night to meet the Manayunk Brewery team and enjoy some delicious Manayunk Brewery beers 20 years in the making!
Sunday October 16th: 20th Anniversary Brunch at Dog and Bull - Brew and Music House at 10:00 AM & Comedy Night at the Brewpub at 7:00 PM
Our friend Jess and her team over at Dog and Bull have their brunch game on lock. Being the lovers of brunch that we are over at Manayunk Brewery, we're venturing out of city limits Sunday morning to enjoy some early morning kegs & eggs and celebrate our anniversary over at Dog & Bull! They'll have our 20th Anniversary beer and Wet Dreamin' Harvest IPA on tap, along with fresh cans of Hoppa Smurf and some killer brunch specials. What could be better than beer with breakfast?
The Brewpub will be hosting Comedy Night this Sunday as well! Back to School Comedy Night, hosted by Sylis P with headliner, Tommy Highland. Tommy has won Philly’s Phunniest, and appeared on Comedy Central’s Delco Proper. Also featuring: Ryan Kay, Jordan Hanchulak, Mike O'Donnell, Nicole Yates and Lump Hamilton! Free admission for all teachers and school staff, 10% of ticket proceeds to be donated to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Monday October 17th: Special 20th Anniversary Edition of Bottle Shop Happy Hour at Local 44 Bottle Shop (6-8 PM) and Industry Night Celebration at Manayunk Brewery
Join us Monday for a special Anniversary edition of Bottle Shop Happy Hour at Local 44 Bottle Shop from 6-8 PM. We'll be pouring samples of our latest cans, including Pink Peppercorn Wingman Saison, Hoppa Smurf Blueberry Rye IPA, Wet Dreamin' Harvest IPA, and bottles of our very-limited release 20th Anniversary Ale. Rumor has it that there might also be a few bottles left of our beautiful collaboration beer Minor Brett that we aged in wine barrels with kumquats...
We'll also be having an industry night celebration at the Brewpub Monday night! On this day, we celebrate our 20th Anniversary! We welcome all past employees to return to the ‘Yunk and join us in celebrating 20 years of beer. We’ll be hosting Industry Night, with discounts for everyone in the biz! We’ll also be tapping a pin of our wet-hopped harvest IPA, Wet Dreamin’, with Mosaic hops!
Tuesday October 18: 20th Anniversary Celebration at American Sardine Bar starting at 4:00 PM
There aren't many people or places that have had such an impact on our success over the years as our friends over at American Sardine Bar. Manayunk Brewery is proud and lucky enough to brew American Sardine Ale for our friends and partners over at ASB for many years, and they and the beer will always have a special place in our hearts. On Tuesday night, Adam and our friends over at American Sardine Bar have planned an extra special celebration of our 20th Anniversary. They will be tapping our 20th Anniversary Ale, along with a special pin of our American Sardine Ale with lemon peel & juice that we made just for the occasion and 5 other beers including our Wet Dreamin' Harvest IPA and Lock 70 Oatmeal Stout. In addition, they will be running a 1/2 Price Happy Hour starting at 4:00, and Chef Doreen DeMarco will be whipping up some extra-awesome, beer-inspired dished using Manayunk beers! This is not an event to be missed!
Wednesday October 19th: 20th Anniversary Celebration at Standard Tap starting at 5:00 PM
Standard Tap has been a champion for all things local since its inception, including Manayunk Brewery beers. In addition to running Happy Hour Specials all week featuring Manayunk Brewery beers, Marty, Brendan and the rest of our friends over at Standard Tap are helping us celebrate 20 Years Wednesday night by putting a bunch of our beers on tap, including our 20th Anniversary Ale and another heavy-hitter Noctunum Belgian Dark Strong Ale, just to name a few. Stop by to enjoy some great food, great beers, and great friends, all while enjoying all things local!
Thursday October 20th: Acoustic Thursday & Brewpub Celebration Conclusion
On Thursdays, we host live acoustic tunes from local artists! In addition to our week-long specials, we’ll be tapping of a pin of our wet-hopped harvest IPA, Wet Dreamin’, with Huell Melon hops, along with concluding our week of Anniversary celebrations at the Brewpub!
Friday October 21st: Co-20th Anniversary Party at the Grey Lodge Pub at 6:00 PM
There aren't many people that mean as much to us at Manayunk Brewery, not to mention the entire Philadelphia bar & craft beer scene, as our friend Scoats of the Grey Lodge Pub. Scoats was one of the earliest supporters of Manayunk Brewery, and continues to this day to be a friend and extremely important partner to Manayunk Brewing Company. Scoats also did his first ever event at the Grey Lodge Pub with Manayunk Brewery alongside then co-brewers Jim Brennan & Ted Briggs. Since then, Manayunk Brewery and the Grey Lodge Pub have done dozens of events, and we could not be more proud of the relationship between Manayunk Brewery and our friend Scoats. During the co-20th Anniversary celebration, Scoats has been gracious enough to invite not only our current but also our former brewing staff, so look to mingle and share a beer with both past and present brewers from Manayunk Brewery joining in on the festivities. As with all great Grey Lodge events, we will have fun activities like Manayunk & Grey Lodge Trivia, some greatest hit events from our Philly Beer Week favorite event the Beer Olympics, along with a special Anniversary cake. This will be a celebration for the ages, and the perfect conclusion to our 20th Anniversary celebrations!
