After a successful season at its temporary location at City Hall in 2016, Christmas Village is happy to announce that it will make the move back to the newly renovated LOVE Park in 2017. Returning for its 10th anniversary season, Christmas Village in Philadelphia will transform Love Park into an authentic German Christmas market.
As in past years, the event will be open from Thanksgiving Day (Thursday, November 23rd) through Christmas Eve (Sunday, December 24th). Come and celebrate our Opening Weekend during ChristmasVillage's 10 year anniversary on November 25th and 26th. The official opening ceremony is set for Sunday, November 26th.
Here you can meet the original Christkind from Nuremberg, after she officially opens the market by reciting her traditional prologue. Bring your friends and family to take photos with her as she does her traditional walk through the market. In Germany, she is the person who brings Christmas gifts to the kids, and she won't be coming to Philadelphia empty handed!
Over 80 local and international vendors will await the visitors in their traditional wooden booths, offering Holiday gifts, ornaments, jewelry and high-quality arts and crafts.
