Legacy Youth Tennis and Education, a Philadelphia-based non-profit dedicated to developing youth through the sport of tennis, is thrilled to host its 34th Annual Benefit, Champions for Children, on Thursday, April 6, 2017. During the organization’s most important annual fundraiser, attendees will enjoy delicious food and drink, while meeting both past and present Legacy Coaches and Student Athletes throughout the evening. Guests will additionally hear from special guests – Drexel University President John A. Fry, Comcast SportsNet Personality, Michael Barkann, and ESPN Grand Slam Tennis Host and former Legacy program participant, Chris McKendry. Proceeds from event ticket purchases, sponsorships and purchases of live and silent auction items directly support more than 3,500 student participants in free and/or low-cost programming provided in Philadelphia, Camden, and Chester communities and schools.
