The Louisiana Dance Party kicks off at 2:00 p.m. with a lesson that includes an introduction to both Cajun two-step and Zydeco dancing (singles welcome no partners needed for the lesson or the dance that follows). Starting at 3:00, we'll play a mix of Cajun and Zydeco music for dancing. At 4:00, you'll enjoy the premier performance of a new Cajun band, featuring the talents of several well-seasoned local musicians who have joined forces to share their love of Cajun dance music. Following the band's set, the dancing will continue until 6:00 p.m.
