Music is full of stories. The composer has a story behind before putting pen to paper. The song itself tells a tale. There are stories of song's historical significance. The performers have their stories about what drew them to a song, why they sing or what it means to them.
Justin Gonzalez, Philadelphia's "treasured tenor� known for his 'expressive mastery tells all these stories before the performance of songs crossing languages and styles.
He has been performing since the age of eleven and is a musician who is comfortable with many different genres.
Having sung as a classical musician with The Philadelphia Singers, The Philadelphia Orchestra, Peter Nero and the Philly Pops, and Opera Philadelphia, his love of pop music was never far below the surface. It was kept alive through his performances with Rod Stewart and Chubby Checker.
While leading a life as a concert performer, often his talents were called upon to welcome dignitaries--he sang for Presidents, Prime Ministers and Princes
