The Twentieth Anniversary Celebration will convene on Thursday, February 9-Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Downtown Hotel in Philadelphia, PA. The herstoric legacy of Jarena Lee -- the first woman licensed to preach in the African Methodist Episcopal Church -- and others who set an example for girls and women to be called, affirmed, and blessed within their communities of faith will under-gird the theme, I'll Do What I Promised I'd Do! ~ Jonah 2:9 (MSG).
While examining Jonah 2 (the text Jarena Lee preached from when Rev. Richard Williams 'lost the spirit' in 1819) and Psalm 68:10-13 (VOICE), we will equip each to: 1) receive the YES multiplier embedded in God's Call; 2) obey undesired, divine instructions; 3) interpret & implement prophetic dreams; 4) avoid god-frauds; 5) minister in every season; 6) build among blockers; 7) walk in another's shoes; and 8) be whole to do what she promised God. The Founder & Chief Visionary Officer, Prophetess Dr. Kemba Jarena, has designed this gathering for Christian girls and women, ages seven and older.
