The mission of the Teddy Bedrossian Ski-a-Thon is to enhance educational opportunities for children with special needs by helping to renovate the aging Davidson School building on Elwyn's Media campus. The Ski-a-Thon was founded in memory of Teddy Bedrossian, a former Elwyn Davidson School student. Teddy was a blond-haired, blue-eyed, medically fragile special needs boy. When he was born, doctors predicted he would only live to be 4 months old. Defying all odds, he lived to be 18 years old. Four years ago, Teddy passed away, touching the lives of so many at Elwyn.
