Join us for this year's 25th Annual Empty Bowl Benefit Dinner on Mon, Nov. 12th! Held in historic Grey Towers Castle attendees choose a handcrafted ceramic bowl, the bowls are filled with delicious soups, breads, and desserts donated by area restaurants. The bowl is taken home to serve as a reminder that for many people around the world an empty bowl is the reality of their mealtime.
Our purpose for the event is to bring awareness to hunger and homelessness both locally and globally. This year's proceeds will benefit the Philadelphia Interfaith Hospitality Network, a local agency that provides temporary shelter and food to homeless families, and Rise Against Hunger, an international program which provides crisis response, nutritious meals, and empowerment initiatives to those affected by natural disasters and those in impoverished areas.
