The 30th anniversary of the “Touch the Future” art show will honor current winners from 30 public high schools, as well as successful alumni, as it kicks off its month-long run on Sunday February 5, from 1-3 pm at Arcadia University in Glenside. The exhibit is sponsored by the Pennsylvania State Education Association, Mideastern Region (PSEA/MER), and the Council for the Advancement of Public Schools (CAPS). It will remain open through March 2 during gallery hours, to showcase the students’ impressive talent and pay tribute to Christa McAuliffe, the first teacher in space, who was lost in the space shuttle Challenger accident.
The winners of the juried show, from throughout Bucks and Montgomery counties, will be selected by Grace Ahn Klensin, Temple University’s Assistant Director, Tyler School of Art.
