Mid-Atlantic IHOP restaurants have partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) on National Pancake Day to help beat cancer for the past 14 years. As part of the celebration on Tuesday, February 27, all participating local IHOPs will give away one free short stack of pancakes with the hopes that patrons will make a donation to LLS in lieu of payment.
This year, stores are raising funds in honor of Lucy, who was diagnosed with leukemia at 8 months old. Lucy is now five years old and spends her days at pre-school, collecting sticks and going to dance class! It’s thanks to partners like IHOP that LLS can help fund research and patient support programs for blood cancer patients like Lucy and her family.
