The 2016 Wayne Music Festival takes place on Saturday June 11th and features 7 bands offering a wide range of music. The event had over 10,000 attendees and is easily accessible via Septa train which stops at the festival site at Wayne PA station. The Wayne Music Festival is FREE ADMISSION and is an all-ages Rain or Shine event. Parking in Wayne is also FREE during the event
This year's headliner is The Dirty Dozen Brass Band from New Orleans, fresh off their Main-Acura-Stage performance at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival two weeks ago. Local favorites Rugby Road, Swift Technique, West Philadelphia Orchestra, No Good Sister, Travel Lanes and Seve perform on 2 stages in downtown wayne on North Wayne Ave. Dozens of local restaurants and beer tents are featured.
