What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
With students from all over the US, Canada, and even South Korea, Hebrew Virtual Academy provides a concentrated learning environment in our online and in person classes. Our highly successful Hebrew school program consists of a one-hour class per week (30 per year), thus giving you more family time.
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
We provide digital content, a secure and safe online classroom, books, resources, and more. For our online classes, students need a computer with cable/DSL, headset with microphone, and a webcam, along with a quiet and dedicated work space. All students will be responsible for writing instruments.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
We saw a need for families to spend more time together, while still fulfilling the obligations and traditions that have been passed down for centuries. We also recognized that military families, immunocompromised children, and international business families miss out on the Hebrew school experience.
What do you love most about your job?
We have the most amazing students and parents! Seeing our students develop international friendships and being genuinely excited to be in our classes is very rewarding and fun.
