The Hemant Kumar group has been recreating soulful music from yesteryears to the present, thereby transporting listeners to a mesmerizing world of songs and music. For a decade now, the Hemant Kumar group has been entertaining music lovers wholeheartedly with melodious vintage songs and music of legends, both from the past and present. Continuing with this tradition, the Hemant Kumar group along with "Helping Hand Foundation', a not-for-profit organization will be jointly presenting "Bemisaal Rafi�, on 24th of December 2011, at 6 PM, at Sri Shanmukhananda Chandrasekarendra Saraswathi Auditorium, Sion (East), Mumbai. This memorable event will be performed for the first time by a highly talented and renowned group of 65 live musicians, along with well-known singers Bankim Pathak, Gauri Kavi, Vishwanath Batunge, Sangeeta Melekar, & Manan Bhatt. The show will be compared by Shri Hemant Kumar himself bringing to life the memories of Rafi Saab! This event is a tribute to the maestro – Mohd. Rafi, whose simple soulful songs, stirred many a million souls! It also coincides with his 87th birth anniversary. All funds raised from this show will be used to support the medication cost of 100 Underprivileged Juvenile Diabetics over a period of next 2 years.
